For immediate information about vehicle conditions or if the fault lights on the car are on, press the Blue Key to call OnStar and the OnStar customer service specialist will detect the vehicle in real time and offer solutions.
OnStar will automatically detect the core vehicle parts on a monthly basis and then e-mail the results to the car owner for a timely understanding of the car conditions.
The OnStar Monitoring Center can monitor the operation of vehicle parts in real time and notify the car owner via SMS, phone app or e-mail in case of abnormalities to ensure vehicle safety.
The OnStar Big Data Center can analyze and integrate the data regarding vehicle driving records, maintenance records, collision records and repair records to generate the OnStar certified Vehicle Evaluation Report. More reliable Vehicle Condition Analysis Report can be provided for general car owners and dealers in vehicle trading, so as to provide a rational pricing basis and assuring vehicle condition information.
Car owners may appoint Dealer After-sales Service online via OnStar App. When the OnStar Monitoring Center detects that the vehicle conditions are abnormal, it will push the vehicle condition information to the car user via OnStar App and recommend the nearest dealer for timely maintenance service reservation and better user satisfaction at vehicle maintenance.
When the OnStar Monitoring Center detects that the vehicle conditions are abnormal, it will select the maintenance tips best for vehicle conditions from the powerful maintenance knowledge base of OnStar based on brand and model, and push them to the car owner to prevent excessive and improper maintenance and help learn basic maintenance knowledge.
If the Vehicle Condition Report indicates vehicle faults, OnStar will send the Vehicle Condition Report to the designated dealer (dealer from which the car is bought as the default dealer) to help provide a timely reminder of vehicle problems and maintain the car better.
We are committed to providing car owners with brand new meticulous navigation experience. Car owners just need to press the Blue Key and say the destination, the Driving Assistant online 7X24 will immediately plan a route and send it to the vehicle.
If the vehicle is equipped with the central control screen of the original navigator, the customer service specialist can send the destination to the vehicle navigation system as long as you press the Blue Key and say the destination. When the destination is received, you can operate the central control screen as prompted and head towards the destination under navigation.
After you press the Blue Key and say the destination, the customer service specialist will send the navigation route to the vehicle navigation system, so that you can drive to the destination as guided by voice navigation throughout the journey. Please notify the customer service specialist in advance in case of any driving preferences (like expressway preferred) to receive a preference-compliant navigation route.
For POI information regarding gas stations, parking lots, supermarkets, hospitals and banks near a certain location, press the Blue Key of OnStar to contact a customer service specialist who will send a navigation route with such information.
If the vehicle is close to the destination or the destination can’t be found due to traffic control, the car owner may press the Blue Key of OnStar to contact a customer service specialist who will provide online artificial guide to the destination.
If unable to locate the car, the car owner may use the Navigation to Vehicle feature on the OnStar App to locate it. When the car is within a short distance, the Horn/Flash feature on the Navigation to Vehicle interface may be used to re-confirm the car position. Or simply dial the OnStar 24-H Service Hotline 400-820-1188 to ask the customer service specialist to locate the car.
When the destination is finalized, the car owner may complete route planning via OnStar App in advance, and use the embedded navigation service on the cell phone to head for the destination after getting on the car.
Through the powerful GPS, the OnStar Monitoring Center can accurately locate the car and the car owner can obtain the car position in real time via the OnStar App; or simply dial the OnStar 24-H Service Hotline 400-820-1188 to contact a the customer service specialist who will provide real-time car position information after owner ID verification.

Quality charging resources have been integrated by OnStar. To charge a new energy car, the car owner can search nearby Anyo charging stations via the Anyo QR Code-based Charging feature on the OnStar App and check real-time information regarding charging pile position, status and price. Simply scan the QR code to charge the car and pay via the App.
In case of low fuel level, the car owner can search for the nearest gas station/charging pile on the App and press one key to send the destination; while driving, the car owner may search for the nearby gas stations/charging piles via the Blue Key of OnStar, and send the destination with the help of a customer service specialist to ensure driving safety.
OnStar provides private lawyer consulting service via the App. Car owners can consult legal problems regarding car maintenance and repair, traffic violations, insurance claim settlement, marriage and family to obtain timely legal assistance.
Intelligent gas service is provided on the OnStar App. When using the gas service of intelligent gas stations partnering up with OnStar, the car owner may select “Pay Oil Gun” on the Intelligent Gas Station page of the App for payment, fast and convenient (service provided by CZB).
OnStar provides car owners with vehicle insurance service based on driving behavior analysis and offers differentiated and custom-made insurance plans. Upon request of car owners, the OnStar Customer Service Center can offer open information retrieval to provide legitimate information within its reach. For information about food and beverage, news, movies and traveling while driving, simply press the Blue Key to contact a customer service specialist who will search and provide related information online.
OnStar provides one-to-one customer service specialist call transfer service. To handle matters over the phone while driving, users may contact a customer service specialist via the Blue Key, and OnStar will transfer the call to ensure your driving safety.
Appointments can be made via the Blue Key and prompts will be given as per appointment time. Calls will be made to users to remind them of the appointments on that day.
Car owners may book driver designation service via the OnStar app or the Blue Key in the car. It’s convenient and efficient.
The OnStar Customer Service Center can provide car owners with oral note-taking service. While driving, you may contact a customer service specialist via the Blue Key and notify him/her of taking down the information. After the note is taken down, the customer service specialist will sent it to you via SMS or APP messages.

The OnStar 4G LTE feature can provide car owners with more perfect mobile connected driving experience. A wider mobile signal coverage and more stable network connection provides steadier data connection for central control application in the car.
Vehicles equipped with OnStar 4G LTE will be integrated with in-vehicle Wi-Fi to provide a wider network connection coverage for mobile devices. Meanwhile, multiple devices can be accessed at the same time for family members and friends travelling along to use wireless network (only available in vehicles with in-vehicle Wi-Fi).
The intelligent voice system allows you to press the White Key and make calls on voice command; open the OnStar App and call Intelligent Voice Assistant O to check weather conditions and surroundings and realize remote control. It’s convenient and fast.
Car owners may use the Intelligent Voice Assistant O on OnStar App. After awakened, O may control the car remotely, locate the car and send the destination to the car, and provide services like weather information, telling jokes and checking traffic control. It’s convenient and fun.
Press the White Key of OnStar to activate the audio control speaker phone feature. Say the number as prompted for voice dialing without holding the phone. The safety hazard of holding communication tools during driving can be eliminated.
OnStar can help you realize remote control if you forgot your key or want to switch on the A/C in advance. Open the OnStar App to have everything under your control no matter how far you are away from your car.
With the OnStar App, car owners may achieve remote door locking/unlocking. If the car key is accidentally locked in the car, the car owner may dial the OnStar 24-H Customer Service Hotline 400-820-1188. After ID verification, the OnStar customer service specialist will help unlock the car door remotely(for normal use of this feature, the car must be equipped with the original central door lock.
If the car owner forgots where the car is parked, the remote flash/horn command can be used via the OnStar App to locate the car and find it immediately; the e OnStar customer service specialist will help send the remote flash/horn command.
When it’s too hot or too cold, the car owner may start the car with the Remote Start feature on the OnStar App to switch on the A/C (which must be on before the car is stopped) before heading out. The car owner may also use the Cancel Start feature to cancel the started car remotely (only available in cars with Remote Start).

To allow others to use the car, the car owner may press the Blue Key on OnStar to contact the OnStar customer service specialist who will add the names to the Driver/Agent List of the car owner. Then the car owner may set the Remote Sharing Control on the Vehicle Sharing of OnStar to authorize the remote control feature and use time of the authorized user. After that, the authorized user can immediately control the car remotely via the OnStar App.
If far away from the car, the car owner may use the OnStar App to check the status of car doors, trunk, flash lights, head lamp and engine remotely to ensure car safety (only available in cars with Remote Vehicle Parts Status Inquiry feature, subject to physical car display in case of inquiry discrepancy).

When noticing traffic accidents or medical emergencies of others, you can press the Red Key and notify OnStar. The OnStar customer service specialist will contact related rescue organizations as the case may to to provide rescue service for others.
In case of sudden illness or discomfort when driving, you can press the Red Key for help from OnStar. The OnStar customer service specialist will switch over to a specialized medical aid service organization, provide essential online aid guidance, and contact the 120 Emergency Center when necessary and get the ambulance there as soon as possible.
If your car is suspected of being stolen, OnStar can help you locate your car, send commands like Start Deactivated to the vehicle when necessary and try to retrieve your car.
Car owners can add the electric fence to the car via OnStar App. When the vehicle enters/leaves the pre-set electric fence, the OnStar back-end system will immediately push a SMS message of entering/leaving the electric fence to the vehicle to remind the driver of minding the vehicle position.
If the four car doors and two hoods are opened by force after the car is stopped and locked, OnStar Real-time Monitoring Back-end System will receive an alarm from the car sensor and contact you via SMS or by phone to avoid unnecessary financial losses.
If your car is stolen, please contact OnStar after calling the police and the OnStar customer service specialist will work with the local police and provide the position information of the stolen car, so as to retrieve your car as soon as possible.
Under special circumstances such as police tracking stolen vehicles, OnStar may send the remote deceleration command to the stolen vehicle upon the request of police when necessary. When the command is activated, the stolen vehicle will start to decelerate despite of the driver’s operation until it stops.
After the vehicle is stolen, OnStar may further activate the stolen vehicle start deactivated feature upon the request of police. The stolen vehicle can’t no longer be started as long as it stops until the OnStar Safety Center lifts the command after it’s retrieved.
